Sorry, we don’t have any permanent employment opportunities at this time and we’re not accepting job applications.
You can sign up to our careers mailing list to be notified if a position becomes available in the future. We’ll ask for your CV and other details as part of a future application process.
We regularly work with freelancers to assist us with different projects and productions.
If you’re a freelancer looking for opportunities, please fill in our freelancer application form to submit your details. We’ll be in touch if there are suitable work opportunities.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer work experience placements. The reason is, we’re a small business doing specialist work. We simply don’t have the resources to provide a meaningful learning experience.
However, we’re happy to employ students and other newcomers to our industry in (paid) assistant roles. If this is something you’d be interested in, please register as a freelancer.
We regularly engage in activities that aim to bridge the gap between business, education, and the wider workforce, and are passionate about developing a sustainable creative industry in our region and beyond.
Members of our team regularly deliver guest lectures for college and university students, sharing lessons from their journeys within the creative industry, and from their careers at Southpoint Films.
We have also hosted sessions at the National Student Television Association (NaSTA) conference and have been guest judges and presenters for national and local student video production awards.
If you represent an organisation and would like us to deliver a guest lecture or similar presentation for you, please get in touch.
As a recipient of small business mentoring in our foundation years, we enjoy giving back to others so that they can benefit as we did.
Members of our team are actively involved in mentoring schemes with organisations like the National Student Television Association (NaSTA) and Solent University.
We provide access to our knowledge and experience at no cost, and we enjoy supporting startups and new businesses in a range of sectors, including the creative industries.
We often attend networking events where we get the opportunity to meet with students, job seekers and startup businesses that are looking to pave their way in our sector.
From time to time we also host our own events that welcome a mixture of customers, peers in the industry, and students.
To find out about upcoming events that we’re attending, exhibiting at, sponsoring, or hosting, take look at our company news.
We’re always open to hosting educational workshops around the topic of using video to accelerate business growth. We’ve worked with organisations like WSX Enterprise, Venturefest South, and local government in Hampshire to deliver these in the past.
