Lakefest – Music Festival Camera Package

For the past two years, we’ve had the pleasure of providing camera packages for Lakefest. If you haven’t heard of it before, Lakefest is a captivating mid-sized family music festival nestled in the picturesque Cotswolds at Eastnor Castle Deer Park.

Headlining acts such as UB40, Leftfield, Manic Street Preachers, Clean Bandit, Supergrass, Johnny Marr, Embrace, McFly, and Inspiral Carpets have graced the Lakefest stage. And we’ve been there to capture the action.

As part of our festival camera package each year, we’ve provided a 3-camera setup, which was manned by two skilled camera operators stationed in the pit. Behind the stage, our technical director worked from a customised Outside Broadcast trailer. From here, they gave the camera operators their instructions and also cut between the cameras. The mixed camera feed was then sent to LED screens at the sides of the stage, and was also recorded for the festival promoters to use as part of their future publicity.
