NHS England – Thames Valley Educator Hybrid Event

We were proud to support NHS England with their Thames Valley Educator Conference, a hybrid event bringing healthcare professionals together from across the region, both in person and online.

Our role was to provide full A/V and live streaming support, including wireless microphones, a PA system, PowerPoint playout on the venue’s projector and a professional broadcast to online participants via Microsoft Teams who were able to interact with the presenters through Slido. Using PTZ cameras, vision mixing equipment and broadcast-quality audio, we delivered an online experience that felt closer to a TV production than a typical Teams call.

To fully embrace the hybrid format, we also facilitated remote contributors. Using a dedicated ZoomISO setup, remote speakers could dial in, present and interact with the in-room audience through a live return feed, creating a seamless two-way experience.

The result was a highly successful hybrid event that brought together a diverse group of healthcare professionals in an engaging, inclusive and accessible format. By blending in-person and remote elements, the event removed barriers of geography and scheduling, giving everyone the opportunity to contribute, connect and collaborate, whether they were in the room or joining online.

In the foreground, a person wearing a cap is seated at a control desk with multiple computer screens displaying various feeds and controls, including a large monitor with a grid of buttons. In the background, a large audience is seated in rows, watching a presentation on a screen at the front of the room. A professional video camera on a tripod is also visible on the left side of the frame, pointed towards the audience.

This project is a great example of how we use professional live streaming and interactive tools to create meaningful hybrid experiences that go beyond a simple live stream.
