University of Southampton – Accommodation Tour

We recently teamed up with the University of Southampton to update their existing student accommodation tour video. Their previous video was a massive hit with prospective applicants, but it had sadly become out of date over the years. Plus, the original student presenter had long since graduated!

The university team loved the original format but needed a fresh, modern version that could stand the test of time. To future-proof the new content, we collaborated closely with them to streamline the dialogue, focusing heavily on timeless aspects of university life that won’t change anytime soon.

Our production team spent a busy few days traveling across Southampton to capture the various halls of residence sites. This multi-location filming required careful planning and a highly efficient schedule to make sure we covered all the key campuses and room setups. We integrated motion graphics to highlight features of the facilities while keeping the energy light, welcoming, and distinctly student-focused.

Behind the Scenes

Filming across multiple busy student hubs always brings unique logistical puzzles, especially when coordinating shoots in active residential areas. We captured everything from individual bedrooms and shared social spaces to the vibrant external campus environments. Our team handled the fast-paced schedule beautifully, producing an engaging tour video that gives future students a genuine feel for their potential new homes.
