Henry Schein One – Spilling The Teath Podcast

We recently worked with the team at Henry Schein One to capture a fresh episode of their podcast, “Spilling The Teath.” For this project, we visited their offices in Kent to record a dynamic roundtable discussion featuring Alan, Ben, and James. The conversation focussed around the launch of a new white paper.

Multi-Camera Production in Action

The goal for this session was to produce a high-quality, full-length conversation that felt both professional and engaging. To achieve this, we deployed a four camera filming setup. This arrangement gave us:

  • A close up of Alan, the host.
  • A two-shot of our guests, James and Ben.
  • A close up of one of the guest who was speaking.
  • A wide shot on a motorised slider.

Using multiple angles allowed us to capture the natural flow of the conversation, while still keeping the final video interesting and dynamic.

Because we were filming in one of Henry Schein One’s conference rooms, we supplied all of the video production equipment for this shoot. In addition to the cameras, this included large “soft box” lights, as well as RGB accent lights. We also provided three podcast microphones and audio recording equipment.

Additionally, we brought a multiview video monitoring solution so that our director could see all four camera angles in realtime. This meant that any visual errors or inconsistencies across all four cameras could be solved on the day, saving on editing time.

Creating Content for Every Channel

Modern marketing strategies often require more than just one long video. To help Henry Schein One get the most out of this session, our deliverables included:

  • A Full-Length Conversation: The complete, edited roundtable for those who want the deep dive.

  • Social Media Teasers: Short, punchy clips designed to build excitement and “spill” just enough information to encourage viewers to watch the full episode.

Why Video Works for Podcasts

In a recent case study, Alan Mutton, Head of Marketing at Henry Schein One UK, noted, video creates a “one-to-one conversation” that people can easily consume on their commute or during a lunch break. By filming these podcast episodes, the brand creates a more authentic and human connection with its audience.

It is always amazing to work with the Henry Schein One team. We’re grateful for their continued trust in us to help deliver their video content strategy.
