Southern Co-op is a major food retail and funeral care co-operative. They operate across 11 counties in the South of England and have over 127,000 members.
Just like in 2020, Southern Co-op’s AGM 2021 had to take place virtually. And, like before, we were on hand to help.
Although the format was largely the same as it was in October, we made some improvements for May’s AGM. For starters, we renewed the show branding. As you’ll see from the sample above, we introduced motion graphic backgrounds, a bespoke animated transition, and we included some subtle animations in the background at key points.
Additionally, we also improved our technical setup. This year we had three teleprompters, which were operated by two of our team. This kept all three of Southern Co-op’s presenters in sync throughout the show.
As before, Southern Co-op’s AGM 2021 incorporated a mixture of live content with presentation slides, pre-recorded videos and a live Q&A with viewers. This required four cameras and five crew members to produce.
The technical side of the production was handled by Civica this time, with the stream itself broadcast to Vimeo. The Civica platform managed members logins, voting and question submissions. It was a huge success!
